Engine Glow Plug Light Blinking
Hello everyone, I welcome you all to my blog, in this vlog we will discuss the most important and common problem of every car which is Glow Plug light Blinking.
Mostly this problem occurs in Volkswagen cars earlier but now this is normal in every TDI engines.
There may be multiple reasons why this warning light gets blinking at any time.
I have a Skoda Rapid TDI 1.6, and I faced this issue multiple times in the past, to get things working properly, first of all, you need to know about some common sensors and major parts of the engine.
Some important Parts of your Car's Engine are:
1. Turbo.
2. Air Filter.
3. Intercooler.
4. Intake Manifold.
5. ECU.
6. EGR Valve.
7. Water Pumps.
Some Important Sensors of your Car's Engine you need to know about:
1. Turbo boost Pressure Sensor.
2. Turbo Boost Control Valve.
3. MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow Sensor).
4. Turbo actuator Valve.
If you are having enough knowledge of above-mentioned parts and sensors you will make things working very well in your car.
If you are driving a Skoda and Volkswagen car and if any of this above-mentioned part or sensor will stop working properly the ECU will detect it and starts flashing the Glow Plug light.
This is known as Safe Mode.
So, first of all, I will suggest you guys please perform an overall OBD scanning of your car only after that you will be able to diagnose that where the problem is.
