@Ford Stops Production of Cars-[Sedans]
@Ford announces that it will stop their production of traditional Ford-[Sedans] cars like-Tauras and Fusion in the US.
Ford will in future stop their production of regular sedans.
Ford aims at reducing their production costs and focus more only on SUVs and Trucks. The only two model that will be in lead or continued in production is the new crossover Focus Active starting in 2019 and the evergreen sporty Mustang.
The starting Price of Tauras Sedan is approx $28,000 and the mid-size Fusion sedan approx &22,000. But they will not be longer in production because of their reducing demand from customers in North-America and the increasing production cost. The only two models of the sedans that are profitable for production for the company are Mustang and upcoming Focus Active.
Ford has completed its journey of 115 years in growing automobile industry but this is not the first time when ford phased out the vehicles.
The Company said that by the year 2020 it will only in lead for the production of SUVs, Pickups, and commercial vehicles only.
Fairline models of Ford are first introduced in 1955 but have been 19 times in and out for production. Also, the first model of Ford Fiesta is introduced in 1978 but was discontinued for production only after two years and then again introduced in the year 2011 after a huge gap but now finally again cut off.
The phasing out of the cars will not take place right now but will take place in the next few years but the company will greatly focus on pickups, SUVs, and trucks.
Company Ford says that it will further launch 14-15 new electric-battery vehicles in the market in the upcoming years.
The company will also in future launch it two main historical vehicles Bronco SUV and the Ranger Pickup by 2019-2020.
Ford in India is also increasing their sales day by day. The new Ford Ecosport SUV is a best in class for a normal family under the budget with all the essential feature in the top model.
